Tommaso Martinelli is a promising goalkeeper for Fiorentina. Raised in the Viola youth sector - where he won an Italian Cup and a Primavera Super Cup as a protagonist - he was included in the first team squad for the 2023/24 season. Born in 2006, 194 cm tall, he is a physical and reactive goalkeeper, as good at exits as he is between the posts. On 2 June 2024 he made his debut in Serie A, thus becoming the first footballer born since 2006 to start a Serie A match. The Guardian included him among the best talents in the world born in 2006.
